While the backlog of these surgeries have been widely noted, this proprietary research study from Mercury Healthcare, which is now a part of WebMD Provider Services, illustrates the impact the pandemic had on overall patient and visit volume. It also uncovers trends from the analysis of 340 million visits at 56 health systems and medical treatments of 53 million patients across diverse geographies.
