1:00 PM CT We are witnessing a transformative moment in modern healthcare, as we continue to grapple with the impact of COVID-19. While there are many lessons learned from the pandemic, the role of virtual care in sustaining hospitals and clinics when in-person care was not an option cannot be overstated. By all accounts, COVID-19 has created a momentous inflection point for virtual care and will have critical implications for how health systems think about their telehealth strategy moving forward. But before health systems can think strategically about growing their virtual care programs, it’s important to understand what happened during the pandemic and how it changed consumer and physician perceptions of virtual care. Prior to that, Mary helped build Forrester Research, a publicly traded provider of technology advisory services, from its inception. She served for 15 years as the company’s Vice President, Research. Mary currently serves on the Board of IANs Research, a cybersecurity advisory firm, and on the Advisory Board of Brodeur Partners, a strategic communications company. She has also served as Board Member for Yankee Group, a technology research company; and as a trustee for both Nashoba Brooks School and Esperanza Academy, a tuition-free middle school for girls in Lawrence, MA.
