12:00 pm CT As a result of COVID-19, health systems made sweeping shifts in resource allocation. In the coming months, as health systems return to routine and elective care, work volumes will be erratic for revenue cycle teams. Health systems will need to prepare for unfavorable shifts to the payer mix as the number of unemployed Americans exceeds 30M.
