Hospital-based clinical pathways are important in providing proper clinical management and achieving optimal patient outcomes. During this presentation, we will review example clinical pathways that were developed, in collaboration with experts in hematology, emergency medicine, and clinical pharmacy, for those patients presenting to the hospital with a rare bleeding disorder. To be successful, a pathway must not only have buy-in and support from leadership, but from the frontline staff who will use the pathway at the point of care.
