Challenges in ECG monitoring, from false alarms to infections, enhancing patient safety and clinical efficiencies: How single patient use can save the day

Thursday, April 20th, 2023 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CT

The ECG has been around for more than 100 years, yet monitoring the results in the clinical setting is still posing challenges for clinicians.

This comes with added time and sometimes frustration for both caregiver and patient, not to mention safety elements that must be addressed.

This webinar will be especially geared toward physicians and nurses working in ICUs, EDs, ORs, telemetry and cardiac units.

In addition to issues experienced and methods to overcome and improve the process of ECG monitoring, we'll tackle:

  • How to combat false leads off alarms
  • Improving patient comfort
  • Increasing efficiencies, especially the time spent managing equipment
  • Infection prevention resulting from cross contamination
