How the nation's largest health system scales physician well-being work

Wednesday, March 19th, 2025 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CT

Nearly half of U.S. physicians report symptoms of burnout, and while health systems are making some strides, meaningful change remains elusive.

As the nation's largest health system, HCA Healthcare is endeavoring to develop a scalable approach to physician well-being across its 186 hospitals, 5400+ residents and 15000 plus employed physicians and APPs. This session will reveal how HCA is approaching systemwide standardization with local customization, and what lessons other health systems can apply.

Attendees will also gain exclusive insights from the AMA 2024 National Physician Comparison Report, which surveyed 20,000 physicians and advanced practice providers nationwide on the top drivers of burnout and well-being.
