How WakeMed created more OR capacity without new construction

WakeMed Health in Raleigh, N.C., transformed its operating room and procedural area utilization for remarkable efficiency gains. 

The system has achieved an 11% increase in prime-time case minutes across its ORs and a 21% jump within its procedural areas. Additionally, WakeMed set a system record with a 13.5% year-over-year rise in proactively released block minutes.
