1:45 PM CT  Fighting healthcare-associated infections has long been a priority for health system leaders and clinical teams. However, the strain COVID-19 put on depleted hospital staff has likely contributed to a rise in HAI rates. As health system leaders continue to navigate lingering staff shortages, how can they also reverse the trend of rising infections to better protect patients and organizational performance?
