Despite its vital role in ensuring medical and surgical supplies are properly sterilized and managed to keep patients safe and operations running smoothly, most leaders don't have a full view into what these departments need to carry out their goals.  In this session, we'll discuss staff apathy, facility leadership indifference, and lack of understanding from the healthcare community about what sterile processing departments do and what they need to operate successfully.
