Tuesday, June 9th, 2020 | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CT

Every healthcare facility, regardless of affiliation or size, develops an emergency preparedness plan to assist with driving effective operations and execution of care during times of crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged us like no other on issues of planning, expansion, and prediction. This panel discussion brings together cross-functional clinical and operational experts from across the country to share their lessons of effective methods to address COVID-19 disaster preparedness and lessons learned for future efforts. This multi-disciplinary panel will address creating scalable, flexible options to address surge capacity needs, evaluation of novel medication stewardship, leveraging remote access and analytic tools to manage inventory for the continuity of operations throughout and caring for their staff from PPE to burn-out. Key recovery strategies and new plans should a resurgence occur will be also discussed to help identify opportunities to improve disaster preparedness efforts based on retrospective data and analysis.

Webinar attendees will learn:

  • Lessons learned: what worked and what did not
  • Leveraging technology analytics to assess predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive data for optimized planning
