2:00 PM CT  For many health systems, AI is now a board‑level mandate, yet progress often stalls at pilots and isolated use cases. The organizations seeing real value are treating AI as an enterprise capability jointly owned by the finance and IT leaders and investing in that alignment – especially across HR, finance, and supply chain operations. That shift requires a shared language about risk, data, operating models, and outcomes. When technology and finance leaders align on where AI can act, how it will be governed, and how impact will be measured, AI moves from experimentation to durable improvements in cost, quality, and workforce experience.
