Perception vs. Reality: Insights on Healthcare Provider Cybersecurity

Thursday, December 1st, 2022 | 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM CT

The majority of healthcare providers have increased their cybersecurity budgets in the last year, seeking to protect patient outcomes and remain compliant with evolving regulations.

But ClearDATA's report, "A False Sense of Cybersecurity," illustrates there are conflicting reports of confidence among IT leaders. The report also gleans insights on, funding, preventative actions, and prioritization across from more than 200 respondents in IT and security leadership roles.

During this webinar, participants will discuss investments, practices and vulnerabilities within the cybersecurity and compliance space and the healthcare provider industry.

Key takeaways from the discussion:

  • Health providers may overestimate their level of cloud maturity and cybersecurity preparedness
  • Cybersecurity is a top priority for midsize healthcare providers — but it's also the top barrier to cloud adoption
  • Larger provider organizations and those with more advanced cloud maturity primarily outsource their security and compliance solutions
