Since 2021, Iris Telehealth and Geisinger health have partnered to deliver efficient, high-quality behavioral health services across the care continuum. To date, these services are live in six of Geisinger’s 11 hospitals and across their ambulatory network. This partnership resulted in an 83% reduction of Geisinger’s referral queue and improved behavioral health workflows that ensured their patients received the right care, at the right time, by the right provider. **Learning points:**   - Iris Telehealth and Geisinger found that developing an effective navigation assessment was instrumental to effectively triaging patients to the right level of care - Standardizing and optimizing workflows enabled patients in Geisinger’s referral queue to move from assessment to initial consult appointment in fewer than seven days - Through the intake assessment process, Iris Telehealth found that 40% of patients referred to psychiatric care would be better served by psychotherapy or an appropriate lower level of care   Please fill out the form to download the case study.
