1:00 PM CT The pace of business continues to accelerate, raising the stakes of every decision. Nowhere is this more evident than in healthcare, where interpersonal communication is both constant and critical. Proficiency in social, emotional, and cognitive skills has never been more essential, yet many professionals report feeling underprepared for the high stakes, emotionally charged conversations that shape patient trust, safety, and staff well-being.   Traditional, one-time training approaches rarely provide the depth or reinforcement needed to build lasting skills. What’s proving more effective is immersive, scenario-based learning that allows teams to practice complex conversations in safe, realistic environments. This approach builds confidence, strengthens communication, and fosters empathy across both clinical and non-clinical roles.   In this session, we explore how immersive learning can be applied at scale. You’ll also hear a real-world example from [Ariadne Labs’ Serious Illness Care Program](https://www.ariadnelabs.org/serious-illness-care/), which developed an avatar-based training module to help clinicians navigate sensitive conversations.
