Inside IU Health’s Virtual ‘Return to Work’ COVID-19 Program

As more states begin the process of opening up post-COVID-19, questions remain regarding the safest and most effective way to go back to work amid the “new normal.”

Indiana University Health (IU Health), the largest healthcare system in Indiana, developed innovative programs designed to help both its employees and its patients safely return to work. The health system is leveraging a virtual hub for its team member quarantine and has also developed a “Return to Work” program for patients post COVID-19.

During this webinar, IU Health team leaders David Kogan, VP of Retail Health Services, Ian McDaniel, Executive Director of Virtual Care, and Michele Saysana, MD, FAAP, VP of Safety, Quality and Performance Improvement detail how they are leveraging telehealth to help their employees and patients safely return to work.

Learning objectives include how to:

  • Set up virtual COVID-19 screening clinics
  • Expand to specimen collection and test result communication
  • Monitor and care for quarantined patients and team members
  • Coordinate “Return to Work” protocols and processes
