Your organization is familiar with dealing with clinical team shortages and has a variety of sources you can turn to when needed, such as agency and traveling staff. However, the Great Resignation has created staffing shortages across virtually every function in the hospital, including your crucial patient access function. The impact of a poorly staffed patient access teams hits right at the top – and bottom – line, increasing leakage, reducing revenue opportunities, and negatively impacting the patient experience – including health outcomes.

How can you mitigate the impact of the labor shortage? Beyond labor, what value can you glean from your partners?

During this session, we’ll examine a strategy that health system leaders are using to ensure that their revenue cycle operates effectively despite labor shortages. After attending, participants will we able to:

  • Articulate the value of brand integration across partners
  • Describe the importance of training, coaching, and mentoring to all team members
  • Identify the benefits of an outstanding patient experience – to the patient and to the organization
