This session will explore how AnMed Health, located in Anderson, South Carolina is leveraging predictive analytics to solve the complex challenge of aligning capacity with demand, maximizing efficiency. By aligning operational outcomes with leadership targets, we have improved processes and satisfaction for patients and staff. Combining accurate predictions with real-time patient data, we have been able to curtail agency and overtime use, set and meet daily discharge targets and safely flex units up and down in advance – all despite a highly variable census, declining inpatient volumes and an ED that accounts for more than 66% of daily admissions.
