Dialysis patients are at the center of this challenge, with higher ICU utilization, longer hospital stays and significantly greater costs than non-dialysis patients.  As leaders seek solutions to ease capacity strain and control costs, new data suggests a key strategic shift: outsourcing dialysis services.
