1:00 PM CT Massachusetts has taken a groundbreaking step in healthcare regulation with the release of MH Waiver 1115, allocating $415 million in additional reimbursements exclusively to hospitals that comply with The Joint Commission's healthcare equity National Patient Safety Goal and achieve certification in their health care equity program. This pioneering move positions Massachusetts as the first state to mandate specific accreditation and certification requirements that incentivizes healthcare equity.
