Tuesday, September 21st, 2021 | 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm CT

It's widely known that lung cancer screening (LCS) has the potential to dramatically improve survival rates by finding disease at an earlier, more treatable stage.

However, its adoption in the U.S. has been severely limited for a broad range of reasons ranging from patient awareness to a lack of access to high-quality care in rural areas. Additionally, the financial viability of such programs may be challenging to demonstrate.

Join this discussion to learn the key components of a successful lung cancer screening program.

Learning points:

  • Value of LCS in improving clinical and financial outcomes
  • Key barriers to the adoption of LCS
  • Framework on building a successful screening program – perspectives from Cedars-Sinai & West Virginia University
